Ingredients
½ cup rolled oats
⅔ cup water
dash of Kosher sea salt
1 egg
1 Tbs. butter or ¼ cup milk or cream
Sweeteners of choice:
brown sugar
maple syrup
stevia
Toppings of your choice:
chopped nuts
dried fruit
fresh/frozen fruits
Instructions
In a small saucepan bring water to a boil. Add oats, stir, and either turn off heat (electric stove) or turn down to low heat (gas stove).
Let cook for 1-2 minutes or until at least half of the water has been absorbed.
Whisk egg into oatmeal mixture, just until the egg is cooked. Remove from heat, add butter/milk/cream, sweetener of choice, and toppings of choice.
Serve immediately
