Ingredients

  1. ½ cup rolled oats

  2. ⅔ cup water

  3. dash of Kosher sea salt

  4. 1 egg

  5. 1 Tbs. butter or ¼ cup milk or cream

Sweeteners of choice:

  1. brown sugar

  2. maple syrup

  3. stevia

Toppings of your choice:

  1. chopped nuts

  2. dried fruit

  3. fresh/frozen fruits

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan bring water to a boil. Add oats, stir, and either turn off heat (electric stove) or turn down to low heat (gas stove).

  2. Let cook for 1-2 minutes or until at least half of the water has been absorbed.

  3. Whisk egg into oatmeal mixture, just until the egg is cooked. Remove from heat, add butter/milk/cream, sweetener of choice, and toppings of choice.

  4. Serve immediately
